Hello! Apologies, it’s been a little while since our last newsletter — we are having a very busy summer at The Nook! As the weather heats up outside, we are staying lovely and cool in our tucked-away downstairs room. It has been such a wonderful term, and we are incredibly grateful for the continued support from our Nook community. We continue to feel so proud as we watch our young people grow in confidence, creativity and self-belief through the relationships and projects we build together each week. We are now running a very full timetable of one-to-one sessions and groups, and it has been lovely to see so many familiar faces returning each week. Meet & Create — Summer OfferOur Meet & Create session for teenagers has become such a special part of the week. This very small group offers a gentle space for young people to socialise, craft, chat and create together with no pressure or judgement. This half-term, we are offering a free taster session, then a special discounted rate of £10 per session for the rest of the half-term! Summer WorkshopsWe also have a range of summer workshops planned over the holidays, including a week of themed creative workshops, creative writing projects and one-to-one creative writing sessions. These will remain very small, nurturing sessions with lots of choice, creativity, and fun. More details and booking information below. Celebrating One Whole Year of The NookThis summer also marks a very special milestone for us — The Nook has now been open for almost a whole year! To celebrate, we will be inviting parents, carers and friends to a Celebration & Art Evening at The Nook. It will be an opportunity to: Celebrate our first year together Meet other families See some of our young people’s creative projects Find out about our plans for September Chat to Ali & Hannah Enjoy some optional creative activities and refreshments

Looking Ahead to SeptemberWe are already planning for the new academic year and are excited to expand some of our sessions and creative opportunities.
